Darren Yates

Darren Yates is an experienced finance leader with a career spanning nearly two decades in commercial and healthcare finance. As Group Finance Director at Preventx, Darren plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, supporting sustainable growth, and enabling the delivery of accessible, technology-driven healthcare services. 

Since joining Preventx in 2022, Darren has progressed through a series of senior finance roles, including Financial Controller and Group Financial Controller, before stepping into his current leadership position in 2024. His strategic oversight and operational expertise have been instrumental in strengthening the financial foundations of the business during a period of rapid expansion and innovation. 

Before Preventx, Darren held senior roles at leading healthcare organisations including McKesson, Healthcare at Home, and the National Autistic Society. Across these roles, he developed deep expertise in financial planning, commercial operations, and performance improvement - particularly within complex healthcare delivery models.
